![]() This class is taught in a blended learning format and the online portion (accessed via mobile, desktop or tablet) must be completed prior to attending the Instructor-led skills session.Because your certification is only valid for two years, Minnesota BLS training isn't a one-time process. All certifications are valid for two years. Upon completion of course, participants will be issued the following certifications: Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED and Administering Emergency Oxygen. To achieve certification, participants must score 80% or better on the written exam, and demonstrate all knowledge and skill objectives. First-aid care with emergency oxygen for all suddenly ill or injured victims.This course combines CPR/AED/First Aid and Emergency Oxygen certifications. Individuals with a current CPR/AED and First Aid certificate, or certification that has expired within no more than 30 days, may participate in the review course. How to care for injured or ill adults and children in a variety of settings, including soft tissue injuries, muscle and bone injuries, burns, sudden illness, and environmental emergencies.Basic life-saving training including CPR, the use of an AED, and the relief of choking for victims of any age - adults (about 12 years and older) and pediatric (infants and children up to 12 years of age).This course includes CPR/AED and First Aid certifications. Individuals with a current First Aid certificate, or certification that has expired within no more than 30 days, may participate in the review course. It is designed for students who need a certification that satisfies OSHA, workplace or other regulatory requirements. The courses in this program teach participants the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person when minutes matter, and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed. The American Red Cross First Aid course is designed to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to first aid emergencies. Individuals with a current CPR/AED certificate, or certification that has expired within no more than 30 days, may participate in the review course.
